This Privacy Policy describes how BearBrain handles user information. We are committed to protecting student privacy and safety.

1. Zero Data Collection: BearBrain does not collect, record, compile, or request any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, or telephone number. There is no user registration or tracking.

2. Ephemeral Processing: Your conversation history is maintained exclusively within your browser's temporary execution space (session state). All transcripts vanish permanently the moment you close the browser tab or refresh the page.

3. Encryption & Third-Party Completion: To generate completion replies, payload arrays are transmitted securely over SSL directly to our Cloudflare Workers and processed via the Groq APIs. These completions are bound by strict data privacy rules:

• Your inputs are processed dynamically and never written to persistent logs.
• Your messages are explicitly marked to be excluded from AI training pools.
• Your data is never packaged, sold, or shared with commercial entities.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance): BearBrain is strictly prohibited for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 is using the tool, please notify us, and we will terminate access.

1. Eligibility: You represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under the age of 13, you are strictly prohibited from accessing BearBrain.

2. Academic Integrity: BearBrain is an educational tutor designed to explain concepts, guide you through problem-solving methodologies, and assist you in learning step-by-step. You agree not to use the service for academic dishonesty, test cheating, or direct copying of homework answers.

3. Fair Use & Prohibitions: You will not attempt to exploit the Worker API, jailbreak prompt templates, inject malicious payloads, bypass CORS protections, or disrupt services. Regional access locks are enforced to align with server resource limits.

4. Disclaimers: BearBrain runs on advanced AI models. While configured to act as an encouraging, step-by-step academic tutor, we do not warrant the absolute accuracy of any mathematical formula or text generation. Users are responsible for validating answers prior to institutional submission.
